The Triglav
A premium goodyear welted leather heritage boot for men and women.Â
Hand crafted in Portugal. By Pela montanha. This is small scale artisan production.Â
I search high and low for premium footwear of an outstanding quality. Never fast fashion.Â
Portugal has long been one of the world’s biggest producers of premium footwear. So, you can expect to receive a high quality pair of boots.Â
These boots are hand crafted, by a husband-and-wife team in beautiful Viseu. This ‘team’ are completely committed to creating a sustainable product and preserving traditional construction methods. This is real slow fashion. These are true Portuguese heritage boots.Â
They are goodyear welted and therefore can be repaired by a cobbler. No more boots in landfill! This construction technique can really help with water proofing too. I’d still recommend using either dubbin or wax on them, when the time comes. Look after that gorgeous leather and they will last a long time.Â
They come with a removable insole, so if you want to add your own it’s a breeze.Â
These boots are robust, strong and still lightweight. Their heritage lies in the mountains and fields of Portugal. Traditionally, this style is worn by shepherds.Â
A true outdoors boot with a premium feel. This gorgeous boot can ramble, hike, commute and will never let you down. Fote e Disposto!
A great boot to compliment a casual look. Comfy, timeless style, lightweight and tough to boot! I love the simplistic design and quiet cool these boots ooze.Â
FIT AND SIZING. Please read the instructions below to check what size you are. Measure your feet in the socks you will most likely wear with the boots. If you’d like me to advise you in anyway. please email me at info@ghcoutdoors.co.ukÂ
In testing, I measured my feet and found that the manufacturers sizing chart is accurate.Â
To measure your foot size at home, place a piece of paper on a hard floor, stand on it with your heel against a wall, trace the outline of both feet, and measure the length from your heel to the tip of your longest toe for each foot. Take the measurement of the longer foot, and measure the width at the widest part of the foot. It is best to measure in the afternoon or evening
Selecting a shoe size
If your foot measurement is halfway between sizes, select the larger size. I have provided the measurement of the insole that the boots come with to give you an idea of how much ‘slippage’ there would be for you. Some people like a ‘snug’ fit others, prefer a more relaxed fit.
KEEP IN MIND! A CHANGE OF INSOLE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE TO THE FIT OF YOUR BOOTS!Â
| EUROPEAN SIZE | APPROX UK | FOOT LENGTH | INSOLE LENGTH |

I understand that purchasing footwear online can be a little stressful. Should you have any questions, just ask away. I want you to enjoy the outdoors in comfort and I am always happy to help.Â
