The Rogue RB2 Light Trail is a hand crafted premium leather stitchdown hiking boot for both men and women.

These South African hiking boots are lightweight and extremely comfortable. As with all Rogue footwear, they require a minimal break in period. They’ll be a faithful companion, trust us. 

It makes a nice change to see footwear as simple as this. That’s part of the reason why we like it so much. 

Yes they’re for walking or hiking. But they’re ideal for everyday use too. Great for working in, when a safety boot isn’t required. Polished up they look very smart and are perfect for those who want to make a statement. As we say at GHC ALWAYS BE THE INDIVIDUAL! 

Ideal for drier and warmer climates. But if treated correctly, they can be just as wearable as a modern synthetic hiking boot. 

Keep in mind there are no long supply chains with these, this is a handcrafted product. Direct from southern Africa to you! One might call them artisanal, but that doesn’t sound very ‘rogue’ does it?!

Should you be concerned with waterproofing and we know many of you are. Why not try them with a pair of waterproof socks? Dubbin or wax will help and thanks to them being made of premium leather, they ‘breathe’ and dry quickly. Just don’t force dry them. Protect that leather!

The grip on these boots is phenomenal! You’ve got to try them to believe it. We’ve tested them on rocky paths, through hard dry sandy fields and through mud. They were relentless. 

They are also very quick to put on and take off thanks to the D rings and speed hooks. 

As with all Rogue footwear, the sizing is a little generous. Plenty of wiggle room for your toes!  If you are unsure about sizing see our sizing guides or better still reach out to us. We are always happy to help. We will gladly measure an insole and compare them to your measurements. We can also advise you on how to improve the fit of your boots if you like. 

Please be aware the odd scuff and scratch on the leather isn’t uncommon, Africa can be Hell! This is genuine full grain leather.
